Little Fit

Little Fit sent me a postcard prior to ABC Kids Expo. Right away, I knew I’d feature them here since their hats are perfect for the trendy parent (and their tots).

Husband and wife team, Julie and John Arata started Little Fit which is a collection of high quality, hip hats with an emphasis on FIT! Not to mention their great designs!

They’re fun, fashionable and certainly a great style for the modern children of hip, happenin’ parents!

These are a few of the styles they have to offer:

All I can really say about this new company is that their products are really f-in’ cool. Not to be missed! Available in two sizes: Little or Big.

Lots 2 Say Baby

Bold colors and fun sayings transform the everyday pacifier into a stylish new accessory full of character! The pacifiers come in sayings ranging from sweet (Heaven Sent) to Sassy (Volume Control) and everything in between.

Zigo LEADER

The first mom- or dad- powered family transportation system. Place one or two children in the ChildPod, put on a helmet, and you’re ready to ride. The LeaderLink System allows the Leader to uncouple in 30 seconds or less, transforming it into the separate elements, Zigo ChildPod and Zigo Cycle.

In researching companies and products that I want to check out, I discovered a great many items to share:

Baby Loves Disco

I’ve always wanted to go to Aubergine but have been avoiding the long lines outside the popular nightclub since it first opened. I thought I’d wait until it was no longer “new” before finally checking it out, but I just never made that happen. Can you believe I’m finally going – for the first time – with my 4-year-old for a Baby Loves Disco event? I can’t wait.

Sponsored by San Diego Bargain Mama, Rattle N Roll, and several others, this is one dance party that San Diego parents – and their little ones – will not hesitate to stand in line for!

Find out where Baby Loves Disco events are happening in your area. For more events, check out the Happy Healthy Hip Parents meetup group.

Parenting Party Sponsor – NABI BABY

Who said safety can’t be hip and fun?

The iddie biddie one-piece is a miniature cotton baby one-piece that hangs by suction cup on the inside of your car window to let everyone know your little one is on board.

Check out all the different iddie biddie designs and other cool stuff at Nabi Baby.

My favorite:

The creative text on the front adds an amusing element, but the shape of the garment allows motorists to immediately recognize that a baby or toddler is on board and reminds them to drive safely.

The variety of colors and designs will be raffled off at the upcoming Parenting Party. Don’t miss it!

I would love to have another baby, just so I have an excuse to buy these beautifully designed products that I didn’t know about the first time around. No, really. I would love to have another baby…eventually. Now, if or when that actually does happen, I’d have to actually find a way to afford these things. For now, I’ll add them to my Baby’s Registry list and think of ways to make some money in the meantime….donations anyone?

Seriously. Wouldn’t you love to own these beautifully designed products for your little one?

What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas

I’m heading to Sin City (aka Skin City) in just a few days and I plan on sitting by the pool and relaxing. Usually that consists of getting oiled up and enjoying a few cocktails while leafing through some glossy magazines filled with more pictures than words but, what can I say? I love vacation and don’t get enough of them these days.

While most of my travel adventures are for work, this upcoming trip will keep me cool at these hip new venues that I plan to check out:

L.A. Baby

I spent this last weekend in Los Angeles during one of the warmest weekends of the year (so far). Inside the convention center, hundreds of exhibitors crowded the hall for Baby Celebration L.A. as parents with babies and toddlers, moms-to-be, new dads and grandparents walked the aisles, no doubt just as overwhelmed as I was.

Here are several of the companies that were there with products or displays that caught my eye:
